Paid search, demand programs and measurement · operator-led
Your dashboard says the campaign is working. We check whether that's true.
DemandWolf is a senior-operator practice for companies with real media budgets and no reliable way to tell what that money produced. We start by proving whether your reported numbers are real — because in most accounts we open, they aren't — and then we grow the spend that actually generates revenue.

Start here · The Diagnostic
A written diagnostic of what your reporting isn't telling you. Two weeks.
Every engagement starts here. A senior operator audits your measurement layer, your media accounts and your site — then writes down what is actually true, what is broken, and what it is worth fixing. You keep the findings whether you hire us or not.
01
Read-only access
Read-only into the ad accounts, analytics and tag manager. A short call with whoever owns the numbers today.
02
Verify, then trace
Check whether the reported conversions are real before reading anything into them. Then follow the spend through to what it actually produced.
03
Written findings
A findings document, a prioritised fix list, and an honest view of what's recoverable. Yours to keep either way.
Two ad platforms reported the same campaigns 45× apart — automated bidding had been optimising to the wrong number.

Recommended fix · verify before optimising
Align the conversion definitions across both platforms, then let automated bidding optimise to the verified number — not the inflated one. Owner: measurement + paid media. Effort: 1–2 weeks.

What we actually fix
The leak is usually two layers below where it hurts.
One operator owns the whole chain — measurement, media and reporting. So the number you optimise toward is one someone actually checked, and the person reading you the report is the person who ran the spend.

Three ways to engage
Pick the level of ownership you need.
Every engagement is led by the operator doing the work. We take on a deliberately small number of clients, which is the constraint that makes that possible.

The Audit
From $1,500Fixed fee · two weeks
A senior operator audits your measurement layer, your media accounts and your site, and reports what is actually true.
Some clients come to us with a specific gap — paid spend that isn't converting, a website that looks the part but doesn't, tracking that nobody trusts. We take these on stand-alone. The work is sharper because the same operator thinking about your measurement is the one writing your ad copy.

Every figure below comes from platform reporting on a real account, quoted as it was reported. Client names are withheld where the client hasn't approved being named.
Case 001 · National consultancy · two platforms
Two platforms, the same buyers, and a 45× gap in what they reported.
The same business, the same two months, the same audiences, running the same campaigns on two ad platforms. One reported 6,824 conversions at $2.03 each. The other reported 152 at $36.99. A 45× gap is not a performance difference — it is a definition failure, and the automated bidding had been optimising toward the wrong definition on five figures of spend, more efficiently every month.

Case 002 · Commercial contractor · five months
0
conversions recorded
Zero conversions recorded across five months and $2,709 of spend.
Every campaign, every month, on healthy traffic — thousands of clicks at a third of the cost of the comparable platform. It was never a delivery problem. The tracking tag had stopped firing, and it went unnoticed because the monthly report that would have caught it was never produced.
Case 003 · Multi-brand portfolio · one month
+153%
search impressions
Search impressions up 153% in a single month.
Impressions moved from roughly 5,180 to 13,100 and clicks from 191 to 293, with average position improving from 10.9 to 8.8. The same month produced 340 tracked booking clicks — the first clean month of that data, because the booking button had been pointing at a URL that died two years earlier and nobody had caught it.
“Mark found and fixed a tracking problem nobody else had caught, then gave me a clear page-by-page plan in plain English; nothing changes without my OK. I finally know exactly what's happening with my sites.”

Questions, anticipated
The questions everyone asks first.
01
Are you an agency or a consultancy?
Neither, quite. One senior operator who audits the work, runs the accounts, and writes the report. There is no team to hand you off to, which is the point and also the constraint.
02
Do you work with venture-backed software companies?
Generally no. The work suits organisations with real media budgets and physical operations — manufacturers, contractors, multi-location and multi-brand portfolios — where the complexity has outgrown the reporting.
03
What platforms do you work in?
Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta and LinkedIn for media. GA4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console and Google Business Profile for measurement. Whatever CMS the site already runs on.
04
What's the smallest engagement?
The Audit — two weeks, fixed fee from $1,500. You keep the findings and the fix list whether or not we work together afterwards.
